For Celtic Thunder, Sharon Browne has teamed up with Grammy-nominated Irish songwriting and composing veteran Phil Coulter to produce a show that includes an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Coulter, who has written hits for Elvis Presley ("My Boy") and the Bay City Rollers, and performed with Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and the Rolling Stones. The ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder reflect the power of the vocalists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.

I played the CD all the way thru twice with no problem. This was on a trip and the playing was continuous. The third time I tried to play it, it skipped thru every song. It was no longer useable at all. It was never taken out of the CD player and the car was never stopped and restarted. There was no reason for it to start skipping.

I watched and listened with tears in my eyes it was so beautiful and James McAvoy was so humble, smiling and kind to pose for pictures with all his fans. I had never heard Celtic Thunder until I was watching a video of James McAvoy signing autographs at the stage door of the Apollo Theatre in London. I watched it over again and told myself I had to find this song. He was also posing for pictures with his fans and this beautiful music way playing in the background. The video was titled, "Remember me" (Recuerdame). I went to Amazon and typed in Remember me (Reckuerdame)and found Celtic Thunder. I immediately ordered the CD.
The Irish accent comes out so wonderfully in the ballads. This is an excellent CD. I appreciate so much the talent of these 5 wonderful singers so different, but all so wonderful. The song "Ireland Calls" truly does stir the blood. I would recommend this CD to anyone who loves Celtic music.
The disc itself was not broken. This was a beautiful CD. My only problem was the case in which it came was cracked. It was a gift, so I was somewhat embarassed to give it with a cracked case. The recipient loved it.
